If you like longer walks and pleasant trekking, this trip is definitely for you! We focus on active rest, not forgetting about regeneration and relaxation.

Comfort of accommodation 3*

We will sleep in a cozy local house. There will be a kitchen and living room at our disposal. The rooms are equipped with single and double beds (single beds depending on availability).

If you are looking for a hotel standard, this is not a trip for you.

Transport: self-drive

We will move around the islands with a rented bus. The formula of the trip is a self-drive which means that participants can drive the car themselves (after prior expressing such a desire).

Trip Itinerary

  • Arrival at Sørvágur.

    In the evening, accommodation in the house and integration.

  • We’ll visit the panoramic Sornfelli viewpoint, experience the surfer vibe in Tjørnuvík, and feel the mystical atmosphere of the Faroe Islands in the tiny, secluded village of Saksun.

    On the way back, we’ll stop to admire the islands’ highest waterfall — Fossá.

  • Today, we’ll visit the island of Kalsoy and hike one of the most stunning trails in the Faroe Islands.

    Along the way, we’ll discover true gems like the iconic Kallur Lighthouse and the famous James Bond gravestone — a spot featured in the final scenes of No Time to Die.

    The breathtaking views from this trail will stay with you for a lifetime!

  • After breakfast, we’ll head to the capital, Tórshavn, for a walk through its narrow, colorful streets.

    Then we’ll travel to the island of Mykines, where the most iconic birds of the North — puffins — nest during the summer.

    On the way back, we’ll stop to watch the sunset over the famous Lake Sørvágsvatn.

  • Led by our local guide, we’ll spend the day exploring the island of Eysturoy, including the beautifully located villages of Eiði and Gjógv.

    We’ll also drive along a scenic mountain road near Hvíthamar, passing by the highest peak in the Faroe Islands — Slættaratindur.

  • Before departure, we will visit the most famous island waterfall - Múlafossur.

    Return to Poland.

The order of activities may change during the trip.
Any adjustments will be made by the local leader, based on weather conditions and the best possible timing for each experience.

Practical information

  • Faroe Islands are one of the safest countries in the world!

  • Breakfasts and dinners will be prepared together in a fully equipped kitchen, using fresh products from local supermarkets.

  • Faroese, alongside Danish, is an official language in the Faroe Islands.

  • The Faroe Islands are carried by the warm Gulf Stream.
    It’s thanks to this ocean current that the archipelago has a relatively mild climate, despite its northern location.

    However, the weather here changes like in a kaleidoscope: atmospheric fronts, sudden rain showers, and thick fog can appear multiple times a day — often alternating with clear skies and sunshine.

  • The necessary things include:

    • Gore-Tex shoes

    • waterproof jacket

    • warm sweatshirt

    • trekking pants

  • The Faroe Islands have two official currencies: the Danish Krone (DKK) and the Faroese Króna.
    Both have exactly the same value and are used interchangeably.

    10 DKK is approximately 6 PLN.

  • Polish citizens do not need a visa to enter the Faroe Islands.
    A valid ID card or passport is sufficient for entry.

  • There are no mandatory vaccination to enter the sheep islands.
